Hi R.L.Yes,it is the same B.Gen.Robert L.Scott,Jr.the WW 2 ace.Sadly,Gen Scott passed away about 2 years ago.He will be missed greatly.I have the 1/32 scale Revell model, exact replica of the F-15B model he flew.My friend Bruce C Radebaugh built it back in 1993 and I purchased it from him.It is a one of a kind and just beautiful. The F-15B 73-108 was the first production F-15 delivered to the Air Force in 1974 by then Pres.Gerald Ford. The TAC 1 decal is present on the side of the model along with the 116th TFW decal.

Don My memory isnt what it use to be I believe the 4 F84s that you are refering to that crashed in Duluth were the 116th stunt team that replaced the T-Birds who transfered to the reserve from the 116th they were returning from a team contest. And recieved a wrong altemeter setting and flew into the ground in flight formation.

I oined the 116th air police on 4/19/52 after being in 116th 4yrs 7mo. and 8 days joined the Air Force. I eventually wound up in French Maroc at site 5 in 735th AC&W. I Later found out that it established by some of the men from the 116th,128 129 and units of the 116th F.W.. that were sent on active duty before. before I became a member of the 116th. If rember correctly we had F51, F84, & F86D. in that order.

Would like to here from anyone who served with Smsgt. James W. Jordan. He was with the 116th from 1955 until the mid 1980s. I remember Globemasters, F-86s all the way to the Wild Weasels. I grew up in shadow of the 116th. I was there for almost every big event from 1964 to 1980.

I was with the 2589th support sqdn. from 1958 until a group of us went to Adana, Turkey about1960. Came back to the 32nd air div. and when they went to Oklahoma, transferred to the 908th AC&W Sqdn. I have many fond memories of Dobbins and wonder if anyone else remembers those years. There was a crash of a B-47 in a pond on Dobbins, and a crash of one of Lockheeds V-stol experimental planes I recall. Had many good friends and have lost contact.

Just a little background on the Unit I was in the 116th Weapons Systems Security Flight, Part of the 128th Tac Fighter Wing Thought this might help. Bob Mulligan

I am updating my email address. I am searching for anyone who served at Lackland Air Force Base April 1977 through May 1977. I want to see if anyone has saved their shot records that reflect the fact that we were given the Swine Flu Vaccine during that time period. The VA and USAF cannot seem to find any records indicating that the shots were given. Please contact me at bobsacard@bellsouth.net 770-617-0333
