This a world-class museum that continues to add aircraft and displays. The curator and his staff have been very helpful to me by access to aircraft and archival material for my book projects on the A-10, F-105, E-2, OV-1 and F-84F aircraft. They have many of the different types of aircraft made on Long Island by Grumman, Fairchild Republic and Gyrodyne.

Excellent presentation of Long Island's important contributions to aviation. Some very nice airplanes and artifacts, well displayed. The volunteers on duty are always willing to discuss and exhibit and the ones I ran into knew what they were talking about.
