Lee  Englewood, Ohio	I was a mechanic on the F-84's from 1965 until they were phased out around 1970. They were fun to work on. Note that these planes did not have afterburners, and took a lot of runway to get off the ground (except the one I saw that took off with JATO bottles strapped on). The Great Carlini  Shelby Twp., Michigan	I grew up in Yellow Springs in the 1960's . Back in the day, I remember the 178th OANG jets blasting over the town, full AB, wide friggin' open, 300-500 yds over the house. I could hear the rumble of the launch, and I knew which bearing to look towards. I'd see y'all, two jets, in pairs, knowing that the sight of the jets was a few seconds ahead of the sound. Joe Frederick  Troy OH, Ohio	Greetings. I used to be a pilot in the 162nd TFS, 178th TFG. I flew the F84F Thunderstreak and F100 Supersabre. They were good years and I have fond memories. I often wonder what happened to some of the guys in the squadron. Anyone know of any reunions?
