McEntire had a P51 Mustang at one time, my father helped take it from a museum up north and put it back together at McEntire. He worked at McEntire from time it opened until the mid 70s. The original plane was swapped for a fibreglass model. I think there was some funny stuff going on, but dont know the details. It is a shame, the plane is now gone. I lived at McEntire when I was about 7 and would go down to flightline and sat in cockpit of a active duty P-51 in early 50s. Great memories.
