| Steve Valley Forge, Pennsylvania |  We have come here at least every other year for the past decade. It is an enjoyable visit for especially elementary school kids. It is interesting for even adults. The museum is small but highlights well Wallops Islands's past and current missions and touches upon the general NASA machine. It is mostly models and video but they do have a space suit and piece of moon rock. There are some small rockets outside. This August they were building an addition. Hopefully they can add some to it. It is a nice side trip from OC, MD (1 hour) and right outside Chincoteague. It is a nice visit if you are in the area. 10/06/2004 @ 09:26 [ref: 3447] |
