In reference to the color question Testor Model Master line has a paint called Coast Guard Orange that I think is the one used on the Dolphin.

I'm currently in the process of building the 65 Dolphin and it calls for Red madder paint for the body. I've searched every hobby store in town, not to mention tons of sits on the web, and have yet to find the color I need for the body. The manual calls for Red madder, but I would think International Orange would do. Please someone help me.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this. This Dolphin aircraft with its four bladed main rotor system and finestron enclosed tail rotor makes a high pitched whining noise that like its appearance commands attention. You must hear this thing.

I'm in the US Coast Guard and I get to fly in them and work on them. By the way... the A models are OLD SCHOOL, we've got the new C models with upgraded avionics, radar, and the Arriel 2C2-CG engines... WAYYY better helo!

Does this helicopter model hold the world speed record? If so at what speed and with what power plants?

Does anyone have cockpit/interior photos for a HH-65 they would be willing to share?? I am building the Trumpeteer kit and this area is sparse.
