I removed the control stick from the L29 referenced by Matt Cole in the other posting on here. It was at AL Sahra (FOB Speicher) in Tikrit Iraq. The plane itself has since been dragged to the dump for scrap. I was wondering if there was anyone interested in purchasing it or would know if there is even a market for it. I have pictures of myself in the plane as well to go with it. I can be emailed at hawkmech67@hotmail.com

I'm working on an L-29 with a flap problem, they will not extend. I think it may be the pressure switch that prevents the flaps from being lowered above 290 knots. The problem is I can't locate it. There are also two relays that cannot be located E20 and E21 in the wiring diagram. If anyone could tell me where these are it would be appreciated.

Hello everyone, I purchased 2 L-29 Delfins. And they just arrived in country. They will be put together by Aero Enterpsrise in Delaware. When the aircrafts are done I will be needing a pilot for the journey to Las Vegas.

The gentlemen who is in Iraq, I need to some information on the Iraqi L-29 A/C system. You I was there for 14 mos. But was a the other sites. The aircraft a/c was changed to impove cooling of the cockpit area. If you can take pictures I can figure it out.

Thank you for your time and keep your head down.

Hello All,
It was nice to find this website. I am currently deployed to Iraq, and there are L-29's galore here. Non of them flyable of course. I plan on removing the Iraqi flag and Iraq Air Force symbols to take home with me as a war souvenir. Thanks for helping me idetify this plane.
