Teri , CA | I need help! My father flew the T-34b while in the Navy; I belive it was while he was in Pensacola in the mid-60's. I'd like to buy him a good quality model for Christmas, but am having a hard time finding one. I'd appreciate any ideas. Thank you. 11/06/2004 @ 21:54 [ref: 8563] |

Kari Karason Kopavogur, OTH | Thank you for this site. I haven't taken a close look at it but it interests me so far. The reason for me visiting your page is that my father died in an aircraft accident in Iceland on the 18th of July 1971. He, and another Icelandic national killed in the accident, were flight instructors at the Navy Aeroclub at Keflavik NAS. The aeroclub had a T-34B Mentor on loan from the USN at the time. BuNo for that aircraft was 140671. I was wondering if there were any pictures available, anywhere, of that particular aircraft as it was destroyed in the accident.
Best Regards,
Kari 08/28/2000 @ 06:22 [ref: 671] |
