A grand total of 67 PB2B-2's were built by Boeing at their Vancouver B.C. plant. Eight of these aircraft were used by the USN, five by the RAF and the balance(54)by the RAAF. Only one PB2B-2 has survived and it is on display at the Power House Museum in Sydney. It is marked in post WWII Qantas paint scheme and named "Frigate Bird". It is subject of a book "The Sky Beyond"....a great read!!
