Eero Kuosmanen , HI | It is a real pity that FAF BW372 has ended in Pensacola in Florida/US where it really does not belong, its only real place to be is in Aviation Museum in Tikkakoski in Finland. 01/12/2007 @ 10:14 [ref: 15167] |
Trevor , ON | Too bad the U.S. didn't stick with this plane. They would've been far better off. The 26:1 kill ratio in Finland wasn't luck :) 09/20/2005 @ 02:48 [ref: 11286] |
Al Sumrall Victoria, TX | Brewster B-239 (F2A1 equivalent) BW-372 will be on display soon at the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola. It is the only example of the Brewster built fighter in existance. A variant, the Finnish
built HUMU, is in the Finnish Air Force Museum. 09/19/2004 @ 01:57 [ref: 8293] |
