Rex Sagle Houston, TX | I have my late uncle Edward Owens Restricted Familiarization Manual Dated May od 1942.
It is worn but can be read without strain.
He was also a crew chief on a B-17 named Vonnie Gal.
I am thinking about selling this book on ebay.
I am seventy years old and maybe someone will benefit from possesing such a manual. 12/05/2007 @ 08:03 [ref: 18802] |

Chuck , OH | Looking for info on what appears to be a B-24D with the name "Peggy" and a naked young lady painted on the nose. It has one Jap kill mark. Came across the picture at an antique show. Only the nose art and kill mark is on the photo. The serial # is very hard to make out. Thanks.

Adam , TX | My grandfather was Robert Krengle. He served in WWII and was a bomber, all I really know is that he was shot down on dec 30. He then was a POW and somehow escaped. If anyone knows anything about this Im really interested in all the details. Thanks 07/11/2006 @ 07:41 [ref: 13707] |
steven blew kirkland, WA | My wife's uncle worked for Consolidated in San Diego. He was an MIT educated aeronautical engineer. He was killed in an early test flight of the B24. His name was William Charles Rieser. Would anyone have a record of this and what happened?
Interestingly, his life insurance paid for his younger sister to go to Cornell Medical School. She was a great surgeon who saved many lives over a long career.
Regards
