Hello everyone. Thank you for your entries on the Do27.
If anyone wishes to contact me, please do so at my e-mail address: MARTINIL@COMCAST.NET
I think I can help everyone with most of your needs if given a bit of time.
Mr. Lahav, I am indeed very interested in the IFF box with 2 connectors and hope to hear from you soon.
If anyone attended Oshkosh EAA Airventure 2007, I hope you had a chance to see IAF Dror 061 / Do27-B5 CN 391 before we had to make an early departure due to increasingly bad weather to the West.
The Dror refurbishment is nearly complete. The major item still to be done is the installation of the ARC-181 Sharkfin VHF antenna, finishing the Aft Cabin restoration, and getting the APX72 IFF to work properly.
Thanks
Luc Martini

I am restoring a (1959)Do27-B5 aircraft (Dornier S/N 391), which saw prior service in the German Army, as well as the IAF (S/N 061).

I would like to include as much original equipment as possible but am having a difficult time identifying and acquiring original hardware.

I am in need of the HF radio set AN/ARC51AX (army version of that radio set, which uses TR702.

The aircraft uses a Radio Set Terminal Box (located on the Right side wall next to the aft bench seat) marked Telefunken, J206-AH. Any data on the Radio High Voltage/RF Terminal Box would be appreciated.

I also would like to acquire / identify the manufacturer and model number of the flare gun.

Additionally, I would to acquire / identify the UHF radio set, and the Aerial Camers system components.

A group of at least three Do27 owners in the USA are interested in similar components, with the intent of doing a group Fly-in at Oshkosh in the next couple of years.

Thanks for any help in this restoration project.
