The first time I ever saw L10Electric was as a kid back in New England. The local CAP had one L10, one C47, one piper scout, and one cessna. In my eyes the L10 was the grand lady of her day.

I have been up in a Lockheed L.10A - Registration CF-TCC on several occasions, and it rides very nicely. This particular one is owned by Air Canada and is based in the Winnipeg Museum. Nice plane - go see it, and get a ride in it if possible.

I am finishing the finer details of "Amelia's Voice" a bona fide fiction book (no helter/skelter ideas in it) about AE, the Women's Air Race of '29 and it includes her last flight. I've tried in vain to climb inside the cockpit of one. Is there any static display you know of that I can see the cockpit? Send email or see site at www.johnwariner.com and down load first chapter.

The Electra 10's were, in my opinion, among the most beautiful aircraft ever made. Please post additional pictures of the Electra in your collection.

I am a professional model builder. I have been contracted by a local High School
to build a static display of the electra. If anyone has a set of plans they are willing
to share at a reasonible cost...we would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.
