IT WAS WONDERFUL SEEING THIS PLANE FLY OVER US AT FULL SPEED HITTING THE AFTERBURNER. THE ROAR AND SMELL OF THE JET FUEL BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES. A BIT OF CARBONIZED FUEL FELL ON MY FACE. JUST LIKE THE OLD DAYS. I LIVED BY AIR BASES ALL MY LIFE AND MISSED IT. MY SON TOOK ME AND I REALLY ENJOYED SEEING THEM AGAIN. OF COURSE THE AIR BASES I LIVED BY WERE U.S. ON THE WEST COAST AND DURING WWII. HE EVEN DID US A ROLL AS WE WERE NOT IN THE STANDS BUT WAY OUT IN A FIELD WHERE OTHERS HAD GATHERED.
