| RATELET Franck near Bordeaux (France), OTH | i'm a french collector on F-84 (my father flew on when he was a fighter pilot from 1952 to 1968) and flew on F84 E during his training period in some USAF base, and flew on it in 3 fighter squadron and 9 fighter squadron in France.
I'm looking to complete my F84F ejection seat some items (your price would be mine...) : - parachute harness - cushion seat - oxygen-anti g and radio system (call personal leads and quick disconnect) - an empty instrument panel if anyone ahve such items you are welcomme.... | Sam McIntyre Farmers Branch, TX | Were any of you at McDill AFB during the Cuban Crisis? Our squad. ended up with about 150 F-84F's. I've stayed in contact with Sgt Jay Cessna. We were at Nellis AFB together and were sent to McDill together. I left the AF after 12 years in 1963. Jay retired after a couple of tours to Nam.. Each of us were crew chiefs of a F-84F and partnered up to be each others assistant CC. After retiring Jay worked at the aircraft bone yard in Arizona and one day he called me to tell me that the 84 he had been CC of was just towed by on its way to the crusher.
